“As a teacher and Principal in and around Launceston for 36 years I hope I would have been a positive influence on the lives of young people in my care.
My teaching goal was to build the capacity of the young people to become positive learners and future leaders of the community. Through this influence students will be advantaged through learning to lead a rich, educative and healthy life.
I think I have also influenced many a young person to become followers of the Hawthorn Football Club! I have played a variety of roles within the HFC in a paid position and volunteer. As the head of the Tassie Hawks Supporter Group to act as a volunteer and build the membership base. My daughters bedroom was painted brown and gold and so was her cot! ”
