Like myself, the 1929 Dennis Fire Engine has spent all its life in Launceston. The urban pumper fire appliance was ordered by the Launceston Fire Brigade from Dennis Brothers of the UK in 1929 and delivered in early 1930.
The dennis served the city faithfully for many years. Now retired it has been fully restored by the Tasmanian Fire Service museum.
