“Launceston is cosy. That you can walk from one end to the other is something I love, nothing’s out of reach. Walk in the city, look up, at the facades - they’re still beautiful. It’s got its heritage, old Paterson Barracks which was the very best brick building in its day’ still operating. It’s a fond sight when I go to cadets.”
