““I grew up sailing at Tamar and Port Dalrymple Yacht Clubs. In 2007 I became a cadet journalist at The Examiner. During this time l got into running and then triathlon, becoming a participant and then committee-member of both the Launceston Athletic Club and Launceston
Triathlon club. In mid 2010 I was offered the opportunity to work for the world Triathlon corporation, a us-based company that runs Ironman triathlons, so I moved to Sydney to take up the job. I finished my first marathon on the Gold coast in July.”
