“I am fortunate to have strong family roots dating back generations in this beautiful city. Always I have cherished memories of a safe carefree childhood much of it spent enjoying outdoor activities. While I left Tasmania for nearly 20 years my love of Launceston never dimmed and in 2002 I decided to settle here for good when I had a desire to become actively involved and contribute to this City’s strong sense of community. Through wonderful events such as festivale and more recently as arts writer for the examiner where I learned my profession as a cadet from 1979. I am forever inspired by the creative talent that Launceston and the greater Tamar environs nurture.”
